Contact page description
This page concealed one large flaw!
If the viewer printed the page, the contact information overprinted on the graphic making it hard to read the leading character. This was solved by moving the contact information over a couple of pixels.
Other problems on this page were minimal.
To the viewer the screen looked OK, but
- Placement of the copywrite information well below the viewing area caused unnecessary viewer scrolling.
- Text color was inconsistent with the home page but allowed to remain.
The e-mail link, however was forced to remain brugundy even after mail had been sent.
- The Franklin text and book were mapped hyperlinks. The map area was increased to ease viewer selectivity area. To see the mapped area, hold down the left mouse button and don't release it. A dotted outline will appear. Move the cursor off the map and release the mouse button. This will prevent you from being linked off the site. Click in an empty area of the screen to the remove the outline.
- A buried, useless column was coded in which forced horizontal scroll bars to appear at 800x600 resolution.
- And again, unprotected text was found.
