The navigation frame at the top allows you to move between parts of the demo or return to the DWSMARK Clients page.
The next frame (if applicable) displays the Original and Modified labels above the respective frames.
It is sugessted that the pages be viewed in the following order. The description, so you know what you should be looking for. The template, for a behind the scene viewing of page construction and finally the before/after results.
The description link pinpoints the changes made to the page. Some changes are quite subtile and not obvious when viewed.
The template link shows the raw page with table cells exposed, but without graphics.
The before/after link displays 2 images of the page. The center bar can be dragged sideways to increase the viewing area of the bottom frames.
From experience we have found that talking about the pages apearance never displays the same image in the clients and the designers mind.
Templates are constructed, shown to the client and agreed upon by the client before the individual pages are actually constructed. Review of the template is usually done via phone conferences. Minor changes to the template can be made, instantly viewed and approved or rejected. This process greatly reduces time-to-go-live.
This process protects both the client and the designer. Any changes to the template after acceptance due to coding errors in the template are the responsibility of the designer. Changes to the template resulting from cosmetics changes are the financial resposibility of the client and add to the project cost.
